A native of the resort, Serge took on an ambitious challenge: building a chalet with his own hands. In 2014, he and his wife decided to completely transform the property—originally three separate apartments—into a spacious and welcoming family home. They chose to honor tradition by using authentic materials: larch wood, locally sourced stones, reclaimed wood repurposed into furniture and decorative pieces, and curtains crafted from wool spun at the Arpin mill.
