There is a unique atmosphere and energy here. This majestic property, built in 1850 and reopened in 2023 after two years of extensive renovations, subtly combines the authentic charm of the Landes houses with a resolutely contemporary touch. With its seven suites and a spacious dormitory, it can comfortably accommodate up to 26 people in an area of almost 500 m². The open-plan living area is warm and luxurious but not ostentatious.
A true playground

L’Airial du Branasse, which takes its name from a Landes term for a vast open clearing in the heart of the pine forest, is a true paradise for holidaymakers looking to let go.
The main residence is decked out in wood and decorated with carefully selected furniture, colorful cushions, books, framed photographs, and objets d’art. To complement this warm interior, guests can enjoy a spacious 60 m² gym –a stunning location for hosting a yoga retreat–, a 25-metre heated swimming pool, and a sauna nestling in the heart of nature. For children, the playground promises hours of fun, while adults can enjoy a game of boules in the shade of the pine trees or a game of table tennis. The interior comforts are not to be outdone: a semi-professional kitchen, a fireplace for convivial evenings, a bar, a pool table, a well-stocked library, and even a projection room for film buffs.
A sense of hospitality
Without being overly extravagant, the essence of this unique and authentic place lies in the subtleties of its design. It has an extraordinary atmosphere and energy. Warm and welcoming, this address is open to all, all year round, whether for business or family meetings, photo shoots or various celebrations, yoga or wellness retreats, film shoots…
But what makes Airial du Branasse truly unique is the history and passion of its owners, Caroline and Julien Escande. Landais by adoption, they discovered this magical place on a school trip with their daughter. They then embarked on the project with the vision of creating a place that would have appealed to them as holidaymakers. The two owners are also behind Maisons Escapia, a lovely collection of holiday homes for rent.

A concierge service is available before and during your stay, offering a wide range of regional activities. Options include dinners prepared by a private chef, surfing sessions with friends, exploring the surrounding area on fat bikes at low tide, or even visiting an unusual local winery. Located less than 10 kilometers from the magnificent beaches of Seignosse and Hossegor and their legendary waves and a short distance from Biarritz and Dax train stations, Airial du Branasse is a beautiful invitation to reconnect with nature, others, and yourself.
