Nestled in the golden hills of the Axarquía, Casa Habiba is a boho-chic haven with 360° mountain views. A serene hideaway for up to 12 guests to slow down, unwind, and fully switch off.

Taking it slow, the Andalusian way

"Casa Habiba is a true haven of peace, blending modern comfort, vintage charm, and Andalusian inspiration — all tucked away in the heart of Andalusia’s stunning mountains."

Bathed in sunlight from morning to evening, Casa Habiba is a bright, all-white villa set on a single level. Designed to host up to 12 guests, it also features an independent guesthouse just next door. Life flows effortlessly between indoors and out, with large picture windows framing the mountains like living works of art.

In the garden, a heated bean-shaped pool invites leisurely dips with no ticking clock, while an outdoor shower stretches out those sun-drenched afternoons. The summer kitchen sets the scene for starlit barbecues and slow evenings. It’s the perfect place to meditate, practice yoga, or simply… do absolutely nothing. And the cherry on top of this Andalusian escape? A range of thoughtful services are available — from personalized welcomes to in-villa massages and housekeeping throughout your stay.

Simone and Mike, the Dutch owners of Casa Habiba, didn’t land here by chance. “It was about ten years ago,” Simone recalls. “We were traveling through Andalusia, and when we discovered the Axarquía, we knew we wouldn’t be leaving.”

It was love at first sight — with the rolling hills, endless olive groves, and whitewashed villages clinging to the hillsides. Their first acquisition was Villa Pepita, a home brimming with potential that they completely renovated. Then came Casa Habiba, followed by Casa Maru — the winning trio that now forms their collection, Las Tres Casas.

The revival
of Casa Habiba

To transform Casa Habiba into a space that truly felt like home, Simone launched a renovation project in 2021. Her vision? Natural materials, unfussy comfort, and a seamless blend of aesthetics with a warm, welcoming vibe. The result? A vacation home that radiates tranquility — the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease.

Simone didn’t just design it — she rolled up her sleeves and got involved in every detail. The look is a thoughtful mix of vintage finds, raw materials, retro lighting, and designer pieces. The vibe? Mediterranean boho, as calming as a late summer afternoon. And then there are the small touches that make all the difference: Mike’s curated art collection, the living room that spills out onto the terrace, the plush cushions, and the lanterns that cast a gentle glow across the garden as night falls.

Olive trees, yoga,
and BBQ parties

While vacationing in Andalusia, the sun is generous — setting the pace and rhythm of the day. Mornings kick off with a yoga session on the terrace, followed by a hike through the rolling hills, picking ripe figs as you go… Then it’s back home for a refreshing dip, some outdoor cooking while the kids run wild, and a toast to the sunset. The vacation ritual? A laid-back barbecue with panoramic views of the Axarquía, followed by a little stargazing under the open sky.

For those eager to explore the area in more depth, the options are endless. Perfectly positioned between the sea and the mountains, Colmenar is a charming, quintessentially Andalusian village. From here, you can dive into the stunning landscapes of the Montes de Málaga Natural Park — ideal for hiking or laid-back picnics beneath the pine trees. Just a few kilometers down the road, Málaga awaits with its mix of beaches, museums, and vibrant city life. The highlight? Grabbing tapas in one of its lively, sun-drenched alleyways. ¡Hacia Andalucía!
