A holiday hideaway in a Mallorcan finca
"There’s something almost poetic about this place — the way sunlight dances across the stone walls, the breeze drifts through the open spaces, and the sky turns to gold at dusk. It’s pure magic."
Nestled at the foot of the majestic Tramuntana mountains, Casa Mana is the perfect place to unwind and truly switch off. Lovingly transformed into a holiday retreat, this 110-year-old former finca welcomes up to eight guests in a setting that effortlessly blends rustic charm with modern comfort.
With 300 m² of space, four bedrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a sun-filled living room, a 15-meter saltwater pool, and six hectares of organic land dotted with century-old olive and fruit trees, the tone is set: here, you live in harmony with nature — without compromising on style.
A true
favorite

A lovely architectural detail in the living room.
The story of Casa Mana begins like a beautiful encounter. “We fell in love with Mallorca — its landscapes, its light, its authenticity…” say the owners, a Dutch couple in search of a place to slow down. In 2021, they came across this old building — a finca, a typical local farmhouse — abandoned and nestled in the countryside of Binissalem.
The charm worked its magic instantly. “There was this energy, this calm, this raw beauty… we knew this was the place.” From there, everything fell into place! With the help of the creative duo Ana Lui and Matias Alexandro (both photographers), they set out to create a family home, an elegant refuge, a lively space where time slows down.

The revival
of a local finca
The renovation, carried out with both urgency and great care, has brought the house back to life without compromising its character. Local materials were sourced, lime-washed walls preserved, and ancient stones kept intact. Here, there are no flashy displays — luxury is found in the details and thoughtful, sustainable choices.
“We wanted to respect the soul of the place while adapting it to our needs and those of our guests,” say the owners. Mission accomplished. The house runs primarily on solar power, has its own filtered well for drinking water, and stays naturally cool in the summer, while remaining cozy when the evenings turn chilly.

Between
earth and sky
Inside, the decor strikes a balance between tradition and modernity. Exposed beams, stone walls, and vintage furniture sit alongside designer pieces, natural materials, and clean lines. “We wanted a home that breathes, one that invites you to settle in — elegant, but without pretension,” say the hosts.
The heart of the home? An oversized living room, flooded with light, where you can easily settle in to read or chat while admiring the distant mountains. The open kitchen invites convivial cooking before heading out to the terrace for dinner under the stars. Special mention goes to the bathtub in the master suite — perfect for soaking while taking in the stunning landscape.
Mallorca,
on the nature side
At Casa Mana, you get to enjoy both the house and the local delights. In the morning, head out for a hike in the nearby Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The more active ones cycle to the neighboring village, while others wander through the markets of Binissalem. In the afternoon, it’s time for a nap under the carob trees or a leisurely dip in the pool, with a view made for unwinding.
As evening falls, it’s time to sample local wine on the terrace — after all, you’re in the heart of Mallorca’s wine country. “There’s something a bit magical here. The light, the sounds, the scents — everything feels perfectly orchestrated to make you feel at ease.”
