In Menorca, a 19th-century finca has been transformed into a stunning holiday villa, tucked away on a vast 56-hectare estate. Hosting up to 22 guests, it captures the laid-back charm of the Balearics, surrounded by unspoiled nature and the Mediterranean.
In Menorca, a finca turned into a villa
"From every window, you can admire both sunrise and sunset—an endless delight!"
Built in the late 19th century by a family of Menorcan merchants, the finca — a term for a large estate or rural property — was long a setting for hunts and grand receptions. Perched atop a hill with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, it was destined to charm its current owners, Benedicta and Benoit.
Nestled in the heart of Menorca’s unspoiled countryside, Es Bec d’Aguila (“The Eagle’s Beak” in Spanish) is truly one of a kind. This beautifully restored 1,000 m² finca comfortably accommodates up to 22 guests, offering 11 suites, each more spacious than the last. Outside, a lush Mediterranean garden, a 25-meter pool, a pavilion, and an open-air kitchen set the perfect scene for enjoying the Balearic Islands’ delightfully mild climate.
The New Life of
Es Bec d’Aguila

Welcome to Es Bec d'Aguila!
Between 2016 and 2018, the villa was expertly renovated with great respect for local heritage. Menorcan craftsmen restored the vaulted ceilings, whitewashed walls, and handmade ceramic tiles. At the same time, modern elements were introduced to create a space that feels both practical and authentic.
“We wanted to reflect the soul of Menorca while providing the comfort of today,” explain Benedicta and Benoit. The soul of the finca remains untouched, perfectly in harmony with the surrounding nature — all while offering unparalleled comfort.
Menorcan
holidays
Just ten kilometers from Menorca’s beaches, Es Bec d’Aguila is perfectly located for exploring the surroundings. Crystal-clear beaches, picturesque villages, hiking trails, and boat trips — the island has no shortage of attractions! The owners also offer personalized services, including bike rides, horseback riding, and kayaking excursions.
For those who prefer more relaxed activities, the villa is equipped with a pétanque court and a cinema room, and ceramic workshops can be arranged – the perfect way to take home beautiful souvenirs from the island. The gym studio, with a view of the olive groves, is the ideal place to unwind or even host a yoga retreat. “Menorca is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with nature,” sums up Benoit.
