Just outside Marbella, a villa that’s halfway between the Mediterranean and California, with a unique design by architect Juan Bengoa. Made for six guests, ready to enjoy the nearby beach.

An Andalusian villa in Marbella

"Casa Manuela is tucked away in a private Andalusian-style estate, where peace and tranquility reign. Perfectly positioned between the beaches of Guadalmina and El Saladillo, it’s also surrounded by the charming village of Benahavís."

Set in a neighborhood defined by classic Andalusian architecture, Casa Manuela underwent a meticulous two-year renovation to become the ideal base for exploring Marbella. With space for six guests across three spacious suites, it’s a true delight for interior design lovers.

Outside, a lush Mediterranean garden invites you to soak up the sun, take a dip in the pool, work out in the outdoor gym, or cook up a feast in the summer kitchen—there’s something for everyone. And the cherry on top? Hotel-style services are available to make your stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

From passion
to transformation

Everywhere, white and curves.

Everywhere, white and curves.

The story of Casa Manuela begins with Paula and Eduardo, two Marbella enthusiasts who spent years exploring the region before deciding to create a home of their own. “After many stays in Marbella, we gradually discovered the true secrets of luxury: learning to appreciate life as it comes, embracing the present moment, and finding beauty in every detail—no matter how small,” explain the founders. This project was born from their life philosophy, one they now wish to share with their guests.

Casa Manuela was created around a simple yet powerful idea: “We wanted to redirect our energy toward what truly matters—to experience an authentic kind of luxury that isn’t material, but energetic,” they add. The villa is a reflection of that transformation, where every space is designed to inspire reconnection, serenity, and a deeper sense of presence.

An Andalusian villa

The renovation of Casa Manuela was carried out with special attention to detail. The interior design, conceived by Juan Bengoa, features architecture with curved lines, symbolizing fluidity and transformation. “We wanted each space to help guests reconnect with their own energy. The idea was to create a flexible environment where the boundaries between areas fade,” they explain. With this organic layout, the villa feels alive, offering guests a strong sense of freedom and harmony.

The décor, created in collaboration with stylist and decorator Daniella Van Twee, strikes a subtle balance between simplicity and elegance. “Every room in the villa was designed to invite tranquility, using natural materials like wood, stone, and lime,” the owners say. Artistic touches inspired by Andalusian culture are found throughout, as local art blends effortlessly with minimalist design. Mediterranean colors and organic textures come together to create a warm, revitalizing atmosphere—always in keeping with the villa’s authentic spirit.

A unique stay
in Marbella

Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the region, the possibilities at Casa Manuela are endless. “We wanted to create a space where you can fully embrace the present moment—through meditation, yoga, or simply enjoying the beauty of the landscape,” explain Paula and Eduardo. Yoga and meditation sessions take place on the terrace, with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, while meals can be enjoyed outdoors, either on the terrace or in the garden.

The natural setting of Benahavís, nestled between the Sierra de las Nieves mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, invites both hiking and quiet contemplation. The village, known for its excellent restaurants, offers a top-tier culinary experience, and the region is home to many local artisans, including painters and potters.

Casa Manuela also offers a full range of bespoke services: a personalized welcome, concierge support, daily housekeeping, and guaranteed security. “We want our guests to feel at home—but with the level of service you’d expect from the finest hotels,” the owners conclude.
