"Set off with a clear mind in the Alpilles."

And now there are two! Following the success of their first home, Domino Un, in Guéthary in the Basque Country, Audrey and Antoine Colombani—decor and travel enthusiasts behind the ‘Maisons Dominos’ collection of stylish vacation rentals—are now welcoming guests to the South of France. Their newest addition, a vibrant and inviting family retreat in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, offers the perfect escape for those looking to settle into the beauty of Provence.

Stress-free vacation

Just a few minutes’ walk from the charming center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, this beautiful retreat accommodates up to twelve lucky guests. The house boasts four equally charming bedrooms and four bathrooms, one of which includes a hammam. The space is thoughtfully designed to be both festive and peaceful, depending on the mood and moment. Every detail has been planned to ensure a memorable and stress-free stay for large families or groups of friends.

The kitchen is (very) well-equipped, and the pool is heated for year-round enjoyment. A barbecue is a must, with the pool house offering the perfect spot for aperitifs. The children’s dormitory is sure to delight, while the bathroom amenities are provided by Refyld. The living room is bathed in natural light thanks to large windows that open onto the terrace, where the pergola beckons for a leisurely meal.

Additionally, a concierge service is available, mid-week cleaning is provided, and the first groceries are stocked before your arrival. “We take great care in the details, doing everything to ensure our guests feel comfortable and worry-free. That’s the Dominos effect!” sums up Antoine Colombani.

Terracotta
sets the tone

Domino Deux epitomizes the Provençal way of life—sunny, vibrant, and warm—like never before. This ideal is close to the couple’s heart, as they hail from Marseille. “Our homes cultivate a vacation spirit that aligns with the region where they are located,” says Audrey, who has carefully and brilliantly overseen the decor. She has focused on natural materials and the omnipresent terracotta color, which subtly warms the villa without overwhelming it. The shade is woven throughout the home: indoors, in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and outdoors with the large family table in tiles and the strikingly patterned floor of the terrace.

Audrey, who is also behind the Marseille concept store Aussih, scoured regional antiques markets for unique finds to adorn the spaces. “L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a true paradise for antique lovers. It’s also a great idea for a day trip from the house,” she adds.

Vacations under the Provençal sun.

From the terrace, the Alpilles rise in the distance. And while lounging in the sun on the cushions and deckchairs is tempting, plenty of curious and adventurous exploration awaits nearby. The stunning Provençal villages of Les Baux-de-Provence and Eygalières are just around the corner.

Food lovers will be delighted by the array of dining options, from charming local bistros to Michelin-starred restaurants. Archaeology enthusiasts can explore the site of Glanum, dreamers will be enchanted by the Carrières de Lumières, and literary buffs can visit the Moulin d’Alphonse Daudet, nestled in the garrigue. So, when are we setting off?
