In 2023, Mylene Kiener became the proud owner of what would soon be named Maison AJAE—a tribute to her four children, with its name derived from their initials. This quintessential Yvelines home, nestled on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, is just 40 minutes from Paris. An exceptional countryside retreat, it’s ideal for rustic getaways with family or friends.
Lovingly renovated by architect Cyrielle Wattinne, Maison AJAE features a sprawling 8,000 m² garden with a swimming pool, play areas, and cozy relaxation spots, ensuring every moment is filled with enjoyment. The property offers six bedrooms thoughtfully arranged into three family-friendly areas, each with a master bedroom, a children’s room, and a bathroom, along with warm and inviting common spaces designed to accommodate every need. The icing on the cake? Mylene goes the extra mile for her guests, providing a range of personalized services and amenities to make every stay truly unforgettable.

At the heart of Maison AJAE is Mylene, a passionate lover of interior design, antiques, and the art of living. After seven years in the ready-to-wear industry and founding the brand Frangin Frangine, she transformed this house into a true family project, where the soul of cherished objects blends effortlessly with modern touches.

To breathe new life into her beloved home, Mylene collaborated with Cyrielle Watinne, renowned for her ability to infuse beauty and character into every space she transforms. Together, they envisioned Maison AJAE as “the dream countryside home for gathering friends and family.”
Noble materials like zellige tiles and Bocklip walnut, combined with natural tones inspired by the surroundings—where deep greens and warm woods prevail—create a seamless connection between the house and the lush nature of this wooded corner of Île-de-France. The result is a home that is both stylish and inviting.

After the renovation, the next step was furnishing the interiors of the stunning Maison AJAE. For this, Mylene relied on her impeccable taste and knack for uncovering treasures at antique shops, flea markets, and from skilled artisans. A porcelain and linen light fixture by Epure here, charming checked curtains from Le Monde Sauvage there, and at the table, a delightful mismatched set of vintage plates…
To ensure her guests’ utmost comfort, Mylene equipped the spacious kitchen with Smeg appliances and dressed the beds in gingham sheets from Gabrielle Paris. Cozy corners invite relaxation everywhere: beside the staircase, curled up on the sofa by the fire, or in the dedicated media room in front of the giant screen. For those working remotely on a Sunday, there’s even a thoughtfully designed workspace. Want to stay active and enjoy the fresh air? Whether it’s the trampoline, archery, soccer goals, bikes, or the heated pool (available on request), Maison AJAE offers something for everyone to enjoy.
