"Here, guests' well-being is no mere illusion. It is the primary concern of the team, who can fulfill every wish."
Upon entering the expansive garden of Le Mas de Castillone—named after Santa Maria de Castillone, the village’s former name until 1981—you’ll immediately feel a sense of calm and serenity. Perhaps it’s the presence of the three-century-old plane tree that watches over the property. The garden itself is a true haven, offering cool relief during the hot Provençal summers, complete with an infinity pool, a grove, and plenty of shade from the surrounding trees.
Inside, you’ll find spacious rooms, beautifully redesigned by Liliana and Alain Meylan, the visionaries behind Les Domaines de Chabran, a collection of boutique hotels that capture the charm of the South. The farmhouse comfortably accommodates 14 guests in seven air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. It’s the perfect setting for a group vacation, whether you’re relaxing in the garden or exploring the nearby attractions: Les Baux-de-Provence, the Alpilles Regional Nature Park, or Arles. This is Provençal living at its finest!
Attentive
to every detail
What can you expect to find in one of the Domaines de Chabran residences? Numerous services worthy of a top-notch hotel. Each morning, a delicious breakfast is served to guests: pastries, jams, local cheeses, fresh fruit… The perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore Provence.
Just ask, and the house manager will craft a personalized itinerary to suit everyone’s tastes: bike or boat rentals, horseback riding in the Camargue or the Alpilles, guided tours, babysitting for a romantic dinner at La Table d’Estoublon, or even beach excursions.
Prefer to stay in? Indulge in wellness activities like spa treatments and massages, or enjoy sports with a tennis or fitness coach. You can also take cooking classes or have a private chef prepare a meal. The options are endless—but we won’t spoil all the surprises!
In the garden, there are plenty of cozy nooks to settle into.

A house
of art and history
Art has made its way into the garden as well.
Closely tied to the Alpilles, the charm of the Domaines de Chabran properties stems from Liliana and Alain Meylan’s skill in modernizing while maintaining Provençal authenticity—a balance they’ve perfected.
At Mas de Castillone, the art-loving architects have incorporated contemporary works, including pieces by Pauline Vincent and others from Emmanuelle Luciani’s gallery, into rooms with exposed beams and stone. Old doors pair beautifully with blown glass lighting inspired by bohemian and Mediterranean styles. The result? A seamless blend of modern elegance and historical charm. Even the lush garden holds artistic surprises, with sculptures tucked among century-old trees. At Mas de Castillone, art is truly everywhere!
Welcome
to Paradou
Without exaggeration, many regular summer visitors to Paradou describe it as a true paradise. The name “Paradou” comes from the Provençal word *parador*, referring to a mill once used for thickening fabrics. These mills, once common in the region, have left a lasting mark on the area’s artisan history.
Today, however, fabric thickening is a thing of the past in Paradou. Instead, visitors enjoy the Provençal way of life: attending festivals in Arles and Avignon, exploring nearby villages and towns like Les Baux, Saint-Rémy, Aix, and Marseille, sampling local wines, visiting olive oil mills, and browsing flea markets and antique shops in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. And fortunately, there’s always a reason to return!
