In Cap Ferret, in the charming neighborhood of Canon, the SHL Lodge offers a unique experience, blending luxury and nature. This magnificent 380 m² villa, designed by the renowned Bordeaux-based studio Agence de L’Arsenal, boasts an exceptional location front-line with views of the Bassin d’Arcachon.

With five double bedrooms, two dormitories, and eight bathrooms, SHL Lodge is the perfect home base for family gatherings or reunions with friends, comfortably hosting up to 12 guests. A spacious 1,500 m² garden, heated outdoor pool, inviting terraces, and the beach just a short walk away… it’s all about effortless indoor-outdoor living, elevated by high-end amenities and thoughtful services.

Fully renovated in 2016, the villa was almost entirely torn down and rebuilt with the help of the renowned Bordeaux-based agency, L’Arsenal. “We wanted a home that honored the local aesthetic while offering modern comfort. We took inspiration from Cap Ferret’s wooden cabins, using a solid structure to ensure optimal soundproofing and thermal insulation.” The architecture is designed to make the most of natural light, which floods into each room. The centerpiece? An airy staircase around which the cross-through living room unfolds. Outside, multiple terraces invite guests to relax—each one offering a spot to enjoy the sun, depending on the time of day.

The choice of materials further reinforces the villa’s harmony with its surroundings: noble wood flooring, cladding inspired by oyster huts, curated objects, and driftwood accents. The décor was personally crafted by the owners, drawing on their experience in luxury hospitality at Les Sources de Caudalie. Guests are also treated to Caudalie cosmetics during their stay. “We wanted to create a warm, welcoming space where you instantly feel at home—a blend of vintage charm and contemporary style.”
