The house is surrounded by a charming garden, featuring a mineral pool and several relaxation areas, both in the sun and shade.
Dutch by birth but Tuscans by adoption, Marleen, her husband Wouter, and their two daughters, Hannah and Leah – who inspired the name Casa Le Sorelle, ‘the sisters’ in English – fell in love with this local property, once owned by a wealthy Italian family. Nestled among hills covered with olive and fruit trees, the spacious stone house seems as if it has always been there. The view of the surrounding nature, revealed at sunrise from the bedroom windows to the sound of birdsong, is something one never tires of.
Designed to comfortably host seven guests, the upper floor features three double bedrooms, with another one on the ground floor, all with en-suite bathrooms. Hiking, day trips to the beach (less than an hour away), countryside picnics, lounging by the pool—there’s no shortage of activities to ensure a wonderful holiday. The cherry on top? A concierge service is on hand to warmly welcome guests and assist them throughout their stay. It’s the dolce vota, Tuscan countryside style.

Once an annex of Villa Coli, visible from the garden, Casa Le Sorelle is a Tuscan old house with timeless charm. From its terracotta floors to the high ceilings with exposed beams, the house’s history is woven into every room. Together with architect Pietro Carlo Pellegrini, Marleen and Wouter undertook the renovation of Casa Le Sorelle, creating spacious, inviting areas such as the kitchen for preparing local dishes and the large adjoining dining room for enjoying them.
To furnish it while preserving its authenticity, the owners chose a palette of soft colors, natural fabrics, and handcrafted furniture. The result? A comfortable home that blends authenticity, art, design, and Italian craftsmanship.

Upon entering the 750 m² garden of Casa Le Sorelle, guests are instantly enveloped in a sense of serenity. At the same time, the property boasts many charms. From the very first steps, it’s impossible not to be enchanted by the picturesque path winding through the hills, surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees. According to Marleen, time seems to stand still in the gardens.
With its mineral pool, shaded nooks for relaxation, terraces, and stunning views of the surrounding nature, the garden quickly becomes a favorite spot for guests. To ensure no part of the scenery is missed, all windows on both sides of the house open to the natural surroundings. It’s the ultimate indoor-outdoor vacation experience, especially when the Tuscan sun is shining.
