Life unfolds beautifully in the picturesque fishing village of Les Goudes! In summer, this charming Marseille district comes alive with the rhythm of the Mediterranean, the locals, and the sun. For a front-row seat to all the action, head to La Cabane des Goudes—a former fisherman’s cabin transformed into a bright, 70 m² white cottage with a hint of Greek flair. The highlight? Direct beach access and a 50 m² outdoor terrace offering sweeping views of the sea.
The cabin accommodates up to eight guests, with a layout featuring a suite and two bedrooms. Leading this sun-kissed project are Clio and Mélanie, childhood friends turned business partners, who lovingly renovated and decorated their beloved cabin. One thing’s certain—you’ll quickly fall in love with the laid-back charm of vacationing in Les Goudes!
A Fisherman’s Shack 2.0

Best friends and business partners for several years as property developers and interior decorators, Mélanie and Clio share a passion for thoughtful design. When they heard through word of mouth that a coveted fisherman’s cabin—rarely seen on the market in Marseille—was up for sale in the heart of Les Goudes, complete with direct beach access, they didn’t think twice before seizing the opportunity.
The duo embarked on a complete renovation, reimagining the layout to create three bedrooms and fully updating the two bathrooms and kitchen. Their goal? To offer ultimate comfort for the eight guests staying at La Cabane des Goudes. Their design inspiration: “A blend of nature and architecture, inviting relaxation, where stone and natural elements come together to create a soothing, elegant atmosphere.

With a touch
of a Greek island vibe
Furnished with striped benches, a large dining table, and lounge chairs, the 50 m² terrace feels like an outdoor living room. Perched right at the water’s edge, it evokes the sensation of being on the bow of a boat, with the sea as your constant backdrop.
Inside, Mediterranean simplicity reigns. Light tones, airy furniture with clean lines, and sunlit photographs of the Mediterranean adorn the space. Adding a personal touch, the natural clay light fixtures were crafted by a ceramicist friend, ‘POTICHE,’ in collaboration with Clio and Mélanie.
The result? A serene escape reminiscent of a Greek island, where every detail invites you to unwind and savor the moment.

From the terrace of La Cabane des Goudes, you can take in the daily rhythm of the fishing village: summer visitors filling the narrow streets, fishing boats coming and going, and locals strolling along the waterfront.
A perfect day in Les Goudes? Start with fresh fish from the Saturday market right across from the cabin, then set off on a hike through the Calanques National Park or opt for a boat tour arranged by the owners. Spend the afternoon sunbathing on the rocks and swimming in the sea, just steps from the cabin. End the day with a gathering on the terrace, sharing a meal as the sun sets over the Mediterranean—pure holiday bliss.
